In early 2002, a trend emerged: many people were looking for something very different from what the leading hosting providers were doing. These technically-proficient individuals (“geeks”) wanted a basic but powerful machine for email, development projects, photo galleries, gaming, reselling or just tinkering. Something that they could manage themselves, without having to front the costs of purchasing the equipment. But although a demand existed, the marketplace at the time simply did not offer a credible option for a self-managed server. Until ServerBeach.
ServerBeach is a dedicated server company that is devoted to geeks and geekdom everywhere. We talk to our customers to understand exactly what they need and then innovate accordingly. ServerBeach delivers what geeks want – a high-performance network, do-it-yourself control tools, secure OS and software loads, first-class support – in short, everything that is missing from other providers’ service offerings.
Being geeks ourselves, we know the kinds of tools geeks dream about. So our staff is constantly innovating to bring about the newest automation tools that will make life easier and better for ServerBeach customers. The Beachball Total Automation System™ is the result, meaning we keep our hands off the machines (reducing error and costs) while giving our customers more options to control their servers.
Understanding our customers and developing proprietary tools is just part of what is so great about ServerBeach. In the fall of 2004, the picture improved even more when we were acquired by PEER 1. Now, we have the network infrastructure behind us to allow us to give customers in the Herndon, VA and Los Angeles, CA data centers the option of 100 Mb/s port upgrades and serious network performance. Pretty soon, those privileges will be extended to San Antonio customers as well, once the PEER 1 network is extended to our San Antonio data center.

How do you support your customers?
ServerBeach provides 24 x 7 customer support through our ticketing system. We have three levels of technicians to troubleshoot issues, so customers get the best technician for their problem every time.
